SS: Favorite Flannery O’Connor Story Titles

I recently tried to turn on a friend to the magnificent Flannery O’Connor, by giving him a copy of “Good Country People,” my favorite short story of all time. One of the O’Connor “trademarks” I like best is her use of clichés and sayings as story titles. Here are some of my personal favorites:

“A Good Man is Hard to Find”

“The Life You Save May Be Your Own”

“You Can’t Be Any Poorer Than Dead”

“Everything That Rises Must Converge”

“The Lame Shall Enter First”

“Why Do The Heathen Rage?”

Thanks very much for mentioning Flannery O'Connor and listing your favorites! I've never read anything by her, but I've been wanting to for a long time. Now I have a good list to start with!
